Bachelor of Education, in short known as B.Ed. is conducted through State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Odisha.

B.Ed. course is conducted in 14 Colleges and 5 nos of District Institute of Education and Training Institutes, in total having 2000 seats.

The Syllabus for B.Ed., includes

• Compulsory Subjects   – English (10), Reasoning (5), Teaching Aptitude (10) and Education and General Awareness (5) = in total – 30 marks
• Science Subjects           – Mathematics (20), Biology (20), Physics (10), Chemistry (10) = in total 60 marks
• Arts Subjects                  – English (15), Odia (15) and Social Studies (History / Geography / Political Science) (30) = in total – 60 marks

It is declared that the Examination process for 2020 will be as follows;

• Online Application will start during April, 2020,
• Last date for submission of applications and supply of admit card and release of Answer key will be in the month of May, 2020.
• The merit list will be released during the month of June, 2020.

B.Ed. Entrance having a vast course and as large number of aspirants apply for a limited number of seats available, the examination pattern becomes tough and aspirants need to know tricks to prepare in a systematic manner.
